JUBA, Sept. 26 -- The 11th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) recently conducted armed patrols and carried out security surveys in multiple local hotspots.
During the nighttime patrol operations, the Tunisian military observers' vehicle suffered an unexpected tire blowout in an area where opposition armed forces are active. The Chinese peacekeeping infantry battalion dispatched maintenance technicians to provide assistance, successfully resolving the emergency and facilitating evacuation from the dangerous zone.
